About Me
My approach to therapy is warm, down-to-earth, and genuinely supportive. I show up as a real person in the room with you—engaged, present, and invested in your growth. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a true connection, not just a clinical experience. I bring honesty and grounding into our sessions. Life can be hard, and sometimes it helps to have someone who can sit with the heavy stuff but also help you find some lightness in it.
I bring a unique and deeply personal perspective to the therapy space. I understand what it means to move through the world carrying layers of culture, expectation, and identity, and how those things can shape our relationships, our sense of self, and how we navigate challenges. I also feel completely at home supporting clients from a wide range of backgrounds. Living and working in a diverse community like the Bay Area, I’ve had the privilege of working with a range of families and individuals throughout my career.
Therapy, to me, is about giving you your own space—a place that’s just for you—with someone who’s there to walk alongside you as you work toward the life you want. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, tough relationships, stress at work or home, or just feeling stuck, I see those things as natural responses to the challenges life throws at us. Together, we’ll look at the patterns that aren’t serving you anymore and start finding new, healthier ways to move forward.
Services
Adults
Therapy for adults is a space where you can talk openly about whatever you're going through—whether it’s anxiety, relationship issues, stress at work, or just feeling overwhelmed by life. Therapy offers a safe, non-judgmental place to explore those difficult or uncomfortable emotions that we often try to push aside. Together, we can look at what’s weighing you down, find new ways to cope, and help you feel more grounded and balanced.
Couples
Couples therapy provides a structured and supportive environment to address relationship challenges, especially when communication breaks down or patterns become unproductive. I incorporate Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) as a foundational approach to help couples identify and explore underlying emotional needs that may be going unmet. Through this process, partners can deepen their understanding of one another, repair connection, and foster healthier, more fulfilling interactions.
Teens
Teen therapy is a safe and supportive space where adolescents can talk about their feelings and work through challenges. I take a collaborative and compassionate approach when working with families and their teens, recognizing that each family system is unique and that lasting change often involves working together. Whether it’s stress from school, changes in friendships, or family issues, therapy helps teens explore what’s going on and find healthy ways to cope and grow.
How I Work
My approach to therapy is relational, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based care. I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and principles of acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) to help clients better understand their patterns, build practical coping skills, and move toward meaningful change. I also have training in emotionally focused therapy (EFT), which informs my work with individuals and couples by deepening emotional awareness and strengthening connection. Above all, I believe the therapeutic relationship is the foundation for growth and healing.
Benefits of Therapy
People come to therapy for many reasons. Sometimes it’s because we feel overwhelmed, stuck in familiar patterns, navigating a transition, or simply wanting to understand ourselves more deeply. Therapy offers a space to slow down, reflect, and make sense of what you’re carrying.
Together, we can begin to notice patterns, build practical tools for coping, and create space for meaningful change. Therapy can help you feel more grounded in your values, more flexible in how you respond to challenges, and more connected in your relationships.
At its core, therapy is about connection. A collaborative, supportive therapeutic relationship creates the foundation for growth and healing. From that foundation, you can develop greater self-understanding, strengthen emotional awareness, and move toward a life that feels more intentional and aligned.
